Sign in for the first time
How to sign into the KaryaFlow Dashboard, what a new admin sees first, and how to reset a forgotten password.
The Dashboard runs in a web browser on a computer. Your provider creates the first login and sends it to you.
Sign in
Open the Dashboard address your provider sent you
The screen says Welcome back.
Type your email address
This is the address your provider set up. There is no phone sign-in and no one-time password.
Type your password
Click the eye at the end of the box to check what you typed.
Click Sign in
A loading screen reads Opening KaryaFlow, then the Dashboard opens.
If it will not let you in, read the message:

| Can't reach the server. Check your connection and try again. | Your internet is down, not your account. |
| Couldn't sign you in. Please try again. | Try once more. If it repeats, contact your provider. |
Reset a forgotten password
Click Forgot password? on the sign-in screen
The page reads Forgot your password?
Type your email address and click Send reset link
The page then says Check your inbox.
Open the email and click the link
The page reads Set a new password.
Type the new password twice and click Reset password
It must be at least 8 characters. You are sent back to sign in.
The confirmation always says a link was sent, whether or not the email is on record. That is deliberate — it stops anybody using the page to find out who has an account.
If the link says Reset link invalid, it has expired. Ask for a new one.
What you see first
You land on the Dashboard page — Overview of your field service operations. It shows cards for the things you are likely to check every morning: what you collected, jobs waiting for action, who is on duty, and what is waiting for your approval.
If the page says Your dashboard is empty, nobody has chosen any cards yet. Click Customize it and drag the ones you want onto the board.
Take the tour
A moment after the page loads, a box appears: Welcome to KaryaFlow 👋 with Start the tour → and Maybe later.
The tour takes about two minutes and points at real parts of the screen. It covers the sidebar, the search shortcut, employees, attendance, payroll, jobs, customers, stock and settings.
Take it. You can replay it later from the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
The tour only appears on a computer screen, not on a phone or a narrow window. It also remembers you have seen it in that browser only. A different computer offers it again.
Find your way around
Everything lives in the sidebar on the left, in five groups:

Your sidebar may be shorter. Your provider decides which parts your company gets.
Press Ctrl+K (⌘K on a Mac) anywhere in KaryaFlow. Type the name of a page or a setting and go straight there. It is faster than the sidebar once you know what you want.
Change your own details
The account menu at the bottom of the sidebar has Profile & Security. Change your password, your photo and your language there.
