Install the app and sign in

How a technician installs the KaryaFlow Technician app, signs in with the email and password from the office, and grants the permissions the app needs.

Updated 2026-09-02technician

The Technician app runs on Android and iPhone. Your office creates your login. You cannot sign up on your own.

Install the app

Ask your office how to get the app. They send you a download link, or tell you the name to search for in Google Play or the App Store.

The app is called KaryaFlow. Some companies get their own name and icon, so the name on your phone may be your company's name instead. Your office will tell you which one to look for.

Open the app

The first screen says Welcome to KaryaFlow.

Type your email

Use the email address your office gave you. Nothing else works.

Type your password

Tap the eye icon to check what you typed.

Tap Sign In

The app opens on the Home tab.

If the screen says Don't have an account? Contact your admin, that is the answer. Your office must create the login for you. See Users and roles.

If you forget your password

Tap Forgot Password? on the sign-in screen

The Reset Password screen opens.

Type your email and tap Send Reset Link

The app sends a link to that email address.

Open the email and set a new password

Then come back and sign in with the new password.

There is no one-time password by SMS. The reset always goes to your email.

Allow the permissions the app asks for

After your first sign-in the app shows a permissions screen. It asks for these, one at a time:

  • Location and Background Location — so the app can prove you were at the site, and so your office can see your route.
  • Activity Recognition — helps the app save battery while you travel.
  • Notifications — so you get new jobs and messages from the office.
  • Background Battery Access — stops your phone from closing the app while you work.
  • Check-in location (optional).

Tap Allow on each one. If a permission was refused before, tap Settings and turn it on there.

Location is not optional in practice. You cannot check in for attendance without it, and without attendance most companies block you from editing a job. See Mark attendance.

Tap Continue at the bottom when the tiles are done.

What you see at the bottom of the screen

Five tabs run along the bottom.

TabWhat it holds
HomeYour greeting, what you earned today, your attendance card
JobsEvery job assigned to you
AttendanceCheck in, check out, your history
ExpensesClaims for fuel, food, travel and parts
MoreEverything else — salary slips, your parts, your tools, leave, language

You may see fewer than five. Your company chooses which parts of KaryaFlow it uses, so Jobs, Attendance and Expenses can be switched off. Home and More are always there.

If something will not load

A red bar across the top says Couldn't load your workspace. Some features are hidden until it does. Tap Retry. If it keeps failing, check your mobile data and try again in a minute.

Two messages mean you cannot get in at all:

  • Account disabled — your office turned your login off. Ask them to turn it back on.
  • Payment required — your company's KaryaFlow subscription is unpaid. Your office admin has to clear it on the Dashboard.

Change the app language

Go to More → Language. You can pick English, Deutsch or Slovenčina, or keep the workspace default. Only you see your choice.
